What began as a simple social media connection between believers in Uganda and the United States— rooted in a shared love for God—soon blossomed into something far more profound: a brotherhood in Christ, united by a burning passion to transform lives.
Out of this divine friendship between Stephen Kingsley and Nicholus Bbuule, Wonder Afrika was born — a Christ-centered campaign with a heart for orphans and vulnerable children. We knew that love alone wasn't enough; it had to be love in action — a love that educates, disciples, nurtures, and empowers.

At Wonder Afrika, we believe in raising up children to become leaders, not only in academics, but in faith, character, and service. When a child learns to follow the Lord and serve others from a young age, we believe they are being shaped to transform their communities and nation.
To bring this vision to life, we founded Wonder Afrika Academy — a place where faith meets excellence, and where education is not just about passing exams, but building futures rooted in hope, knowledge, and Christ's love. We continue to grow the Academy with one mission in mind: to prepare Uganda's next generation of faithful, intelligent, and compassionate leaders.
We believe that by investing in the well-being and development of children, we can create a brighter future for entire communities.
Wonder Afrika is a grassroots Christ-centered, gospel-driven and child-focused organization. We look after the children's physical, spiritual and emotional needs fostered by the love of Jesus Christ, delivering hope to those living in hopeless situations.
Vision
To see orphans and vulnerable children across Uganda transformed into self-reliant, Christ- centered individuals who become signs and wonders — empowered to lead, serve, and bring lasting change to their communities through the love of Jesus Christ.
Mission
To demonstrate the love of Christ by discipling, educating, and nurturing orphans and vulnerable children in the most underserved areas of Uganda — equipping them with spiritual, academic, and practical skills through Wonder Afrika Schools and community-based programs, so they may grow into leaders who reflect God's hope, purpose, and victory.
